Mix any "#" of items for the price of "$"

I'm using version 1.3.8.

We would like to boost our sales volume by encouraging our customers to purchase a product that actually consist 3 items. However, the customer will have the freedom to choose the combination of the 3 items they want within a choice of 100 items. Is it possible to accomplish this without adding a contribution? The 100 choices of items do not need to have a listed price, however, the customer should be able to see images and details for each of the 100 items.

In short, the customer is able to pick, for example, any 3 different products for a fixed amount of $18. Is there a smart way to accomplish this without adding a contribution? If not, is there a contribution available to accomplish this?

We do not want to allow the customers to purchase less than 3 items.

The 100 choices of items do not need to have a listed price, however, the customer should be able to see images and details for each of the 100 items.

100 items with pics on one page will be very large in page size load slowly and be busy
