Configuration settings not working buy now button

1.3.9h with magicslideshow

I went into the configuration settings and turned off product buy now button in all listings

http://www.customcabinetracing.com/c...=index&cPath=3 This page is just features of the gaming simulator. They are not for sale but the buy now button is still showing up.

I turn off the quantity box for each item also.

Please advise what to do here.

I can see a work around by putting in a black image for the buy now button, but I would rather do it another way.

You're going to have a Buy Now button or ...more info. If these products aren't (and never will be) for sale, you can create them under another product type, then turn off Add To Cart for that type in Admin - Catalog - Product Types.

You might also want to consider describing those features in an EZ page, rather than making them products.

Because of the way magic tool box structures their slide show in Zen Cart it must go through the Featured Products module -- so I can set up another product type for featured products???
