Database password

Hi, after having some help with settingup my cart I would now like to change the password on the database account.
I know how to do this on the server but I want to make sure the cart can still access the db.
How would I prepare the cart for the changed database password so it can still be accessed?

Thankyou for that! Is there any info on how to configure these files?
eg. Do I download them from the server, edit them in notepad and then put the changed file back up on the server?

Yes but as permissions are most likely unwriteable, you will have to reset them in your host provided file manager first
and reset after you upload edited version
