I am about to sign up with a merchant card service provider with my bank and they use usa epay but it appears it does not work with PHP 5.3?

I had to upgrade to latest version of PHP to correct a bug with fields showing in product description when doing an edit.

So now it appears I cannot use usa epay? Is there any solution for this?
