Limit order to just one product

We are carrying a Hazardous Shipping product and after all the proper licensing and such, we have decided to limit that item so that it can only be ordered and shipped alone (they can not order this product and other things, it needs to be shipped alone).

Is there a way to restrict a product so that when it is ordered, no other products can be added to that order/product?

I come to your shop and add 10 regular Products to the shopping cart and then add the 1 Hazardous Product ... what should happen?

What happens to the shipping modules when the 1 Hazardous Product is in the shopping cart?

Products to the shopping cart and then add the 1 Hazardous Product What should happen?-----I was hoping if there items in the cart and they tried to order this one product they would get an alert saying something to the effect of "this item must be ordered and shipped alone"

You could control all of this in the function zen_get_buy_now_button and test for all of the conditions of the cart and what to do then prevent a product from being added to the cart based on the condition ...

1 nothing in cart allow anything

2 regular products in cart allow regular products no hazard

3 hazard product in cart this is hazard product
