I am facing almost same problem...
when anyone is going to add a product with the attributes selected some attributes option name are not coming in the shopping cart and this is impacting also in order email.
Example:

type client reference number: G101222ME147 (images will be displayed after the text box)
drag images to the boxes and after that add to cart...
you will see that in the shopping cart page some attributes option name is missing

what can i do to solve this problem?
