I've spent hours scouring these forums (and a bit elsewhere on Google) and I'm having trouble finding an up-to-date, definitive answer to this problem.
I am setting up a Zen Cart for one of my clients (a printing firm) and he essentially needs all of the product options dependent on one another. I think the biggest brick wall I'm hitting is finding a way to create a quantity attribute that provides for selections of 250, 500, 1000, 2500, 5000, and so on. I know how to create this, I'm just not exactly sure how to make the other attributes (like color, coating, rounded corners, etc.) dependent on that quantity attribute.
Here is an example of a printing company's pricing calculator that I am sort of going off of: http://printgeeks.com/ (on the right hand side).
Here is the link to the product I am currently building: http://crownprintfirm.com/index.php?...products_id=85
I recently read that it is "not currently possible to force attributes to be dependent on one another." However, this post was made in 2006. See: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...24&postcount=3
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is this in fact possible yet? I do not have extensive PHP experience but I can usually figure the majority of it out. Thank you in advance for your time - I really appreciate it! And I'm sure countless others do as well.
