configuration changes not accepted

Hi,
I do not know if this ever happened, but I can not control my settings from the admin section.
For instance, if I try to change the store status from 2 to 0 , after clicking update, instead of updating the value, I am redirected to the Admin home page and the value remains 2 ????
I can not delete customers or orders either, and I can not add products or categories.

I can browse the shop regularly.

I am desperate, I can not return my shop to work normally.
Can someone try to tell me what to look for?

You'r right.
The install is version 138a. The strange thing is that I was updating the categories and products, adjusting the pictures width and height and so on without problems, when suddenly the db became like if it was write protect. I do not remember to have done something strange to the software neither to the db.
if you want to check is w w w. a s s o. a c q u a t u a. it. You will notice that you can not login because there is not the word login, but if you type index.php?main_page=login then it opens the login page.

Please help!!!
