thank you Jimmy for your advice. id swithced to v1.2.5.4 and been playing with it these few days, csv download/upload works ok so far. i might stay with it for a while for now.
one thing i also noticed is that the root cause of not getting CREATE COMPLETE file was actually due to my FileZilla not setting to recognise UTF-8, as the CREATE COMPLETE filename contains UTF-8 characters. FYR.
