How do I turn off gift certificates completely?
It should be in define page status but it is left out for some reason.

If you do not want to use the Gift Certificates at all ... go to the Modules ... Order Totals ... and click on Gift Certificates ot_gv and click REMOVE and they will be removed everywhere from your site ...
