I just opened a Zen CArt store and am using a free template from Picaflour. I am running version 1.3.9h of Zen Cart. I use Dreamweaver to make changes. The problem is when doing a test sale, I notied a message on the cart screen that read to


You may want to add some instructions for using the shopping cart here. (defined in includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php)

so I went to the php file which was blank and typed in some text, The text did not appear, however I am now getting this message

What have I done wrong and how to I fix it?

QUIT using Dreamweaver, a html editor and if you are also using it to FTP/transfer the changes files quit that also

Get a standalone FTP client, filezilla is used by many and a good code editor such as crimson editor or notepad++

You will have to start with a fresh copy of that file to correct this from a unadulterated distribution

Should I have mentioned that the file was blank from the moment I opened it. Was it suppose to be blank

No, get a fresh copy from a distribution of your same version
