Hello! Using v1.3.9h; Never used Zen-Cart before.

I like/ need/ want most of the stock template's features, so rather than installing a completely different template & having to try to figure out how to insert needed features that aren't in the non-stock template, I've been customizing the stock one. Maybe I'll be sorry later, too soon for me to tell.

Using the /classic/ folder for your custom template will come back to bite you as soon as you upgrade to a new version, like 1.3.9i. That will erase all of your customized template files.

The easy fix for this is to rename all /classic/ folders to another template name (and edit template_info.php to reflect this).

The best way to build a template starting from Classic is first to copy all /classic/ folders to /your_template/ folders, then work in /your_template/, which will be an exact clone of Classic to start.
