Default Content Encoder Error with fix_Cache_key

    Hi,

I'm trying to move our shop to another server but I'm experiencing the following problems.

I'm following the standard migration tutorial - https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=100

I'm installing it on a new OpenSuse 11.3 server.

    1. I've copied the original OLD files and imported the database. The config files all seem OK. When opening the zencart folder it appears to contain most of the correct information although the graphics (the shop frame etc) appears to be missing. I cannot see the admin section at all (renamed etc.)

    2. I'm trying to run fix_Cache_key.php but I get Content

    'Encoding Error

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.

    * Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.'

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

Default Re: Content Encoder Error with fix_Cache_key

The default setup for an OpenSUSE server is to disable all .htaccess functions. So you need to check with your hosts, as Zen Cart makes use of .htaccess files to enforce security of your website.

Also, if you had GZip Compression enabled in your Zen Cart then try disabling it via the database.
