I am looking at SSL Certificates, some offer Domain validation, some:Full organization validation, some:Extended Validation. they all have up to 256-bit encryption. So is it ok to have basic/cheapest one? or do I really need the one With Extended Validation?

Choosing a Cert with 256 bit encryption should be all you need. Make sure though, it comes with a CA Bundle or as GoDaddy likes to call it; gd_bundle. Now, you may not know what that it and it doesn't matter. The Issuer of the Cert does and so does your Hoster, which is what's important.

thanks for posting your answer, Rob. I had no idea and never heard before about gd_bundle. I googled about it now and just found that it is responsible for instalation with APACHE Server...Is that all that I need to know?Or is it responsible for anything esle...Unfortunatelly I could not find anymore info on it. I have also just found out that some people say that godaddy ssl cert gives people warning when they log onto website with this ssl(like it is not trusted provider)hmm...therefor i would like to ask what do u use for yourself. SO as I understood I can use one of this basic web site veryfication private SSL? and it will be just fine? My shop locally has addrss like this:http://www.mystore.store.com/index.php Does it mean I have to purchase SSL for one domaine with subdomaines?Can I do smth to get rid of mystore here?Sorry for so many questions:-)

Not to confuse you but there are certifucates that are single rooted and others double rooted

A single rooted does not require a CA bundle where a double rooted does

Browsers have trusted providers authority encoded in
Any New authority will show as untrusted to one with a browser version that was before a provider becomes trusted

IMO GD is not viewed as trusted

Certificates are very specific yourdomain is not the same as www yourdomain
A certificate can be issued to subdomain.domain.com

If you are referring to www mystore.store.com
Then one can move it to the root or at domain.com or the www of the domain - - See tutorial about moving

Long story short, a proper SSL Cert issued by a Certified Issuer and properly installed, will not give any Warnings or Errors.

Your Hoster would be installing the Cert and they are the best ones to ask about SSL Certificate questions.

SSL Certs are issued to a specific Domain name / Sub-domain name regardless of how you intend to use it. A Cert issued to: sub.domain.com will only be valid for that name. But you could use for a Zen Cart site, Joomla, Mambo, whatever.

The first cert you mentioned in your post should be just fine.

Bear in mind that the 'provider' is a reseller of GeoTrust certs.

Shop around for a 'provider' (reseller) who can give you value for money. If you have selected a GeoTrust SSL cert then your purchase will be processed at the GeoTrust site, no matter which 'provider' you choose. The 'provider' gets his share by return.
