payment method selected by admin

Hi,
Can anyone help please. I have a site that is selling at wholesale prices and the customers are required to sign up and be approved before then can view the prices. All working fine
Is there anyway that on approving a customer that you can choose their payment method IE payal or check/money order?
Basically I want to decide how the customer will pay; Paypal or have the goods on credit and pay later. But they should not choose in the check out out phase.

What is the basis behind this requirement
Are you trying to restrict the payment by geography? This can be done using zones

Thanks for the reply. No restrict by customer not location. Selected customers who are trusted could be given 4 weeks to pay everyone else should pay on placing the order.

Hi Thanks for the link, just found it as well, installed and it works although not quite as I had wanted, but it will do just fine.
