Newsletters Error

When I tried to send a newsletter it came up with this:

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'as s left join customers as c on c.customers_id = s.customers_id' at line 1
in:
[select c.customers_firstname, c.customers_lastname, s.email_address as customers_email_address from as s left join customers as c on c.customers_id = s.customers_id ]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

I had installed the newsletter subscribe addon but got an error on that so deleted all the files from that and replaced them with the originals but now this error comes up and I don't know how to fix it. I'm not sure if it worked before as I hadn't tried sending any newsletters

It's not just newsletters it won't send, I can't send emails to customers through the admin or send gift certificates

I'm having the exact same issue as I'm trying to send a gift certificate and cannot due to the same error.

read from post #11 on... they mention extra entries in the query_builder table of the database due to being hacked. i looked into my database and i have like 3 extra queries in my query_builder table because i was also hacked before i upgraded my version of zencart.

I haven't deleted them yet, but when i do I'll post my results here.
