Odd Zip Code Behavior

I just inherited a site using: v1.3.9b from another developer and found a weird situation.

When I created an account, put in my name address, zipcode, etc everything works perfect. When I go back and edit my account it's perfect.

When I checkout or if I only view my address the site pre-pends the stores zipcode in front of my zipcode and the shipping modules cannot calculate based on the 10 digit zipcode.

I get:
John Lange
12345 Some Road
Port Charlotte, 34786 33948
United States

The first 5 are the stores zip and the last 5 are my zip.
Just noticed, there is no entry for the state in this address.

When I go to the admin and edit the account there IS the appropriate state entry saved. So the issue is that This installation of Zen-Cart is replacing the state with the stores zipcode.

Any idea's what's messed up here?

Upgrade to 1.3.9h now and avoid the XMas rush

No I am not...Just the time to get up to date

You may also find some code alteration that is causing this in the process

Or just run a diff of your files against a fresh copy of 1.3.9b
