My site looks fine in FF but when I view it in IE8, some of the images (namely the logo, banner and sidebox as well as some of my buttons) are blurry.
I know that this can be a problem in IE8, so I tried some of the troubleshooting that Microsoft suggests (such as turning off the dithering and ClearType for Html in the "Advanced Tab" of explorer). I uninstalled IH and then did a complete re-install, I tried turning off the CSS/JS Loader and uninstalling the query cache add-on. All with no effect on IE (and both are now back in place and active).
I don't have any product pics up yet, but my sub-category images are fine and I also tried to limit the size of the pictures with CSS, but that didn't work either.
I don't have access to another pc so I can't check it to see if it's just my luck or if customers are going to see the blurry images as well.
I hate explorer but have resigned myself to the fact that a significant number of potential clients will probably be using it considering my target client base.
Does anybody have any suggestions? I've spent the last few hours researching this issue via Google but have not discovered a satisfactory resolution.
