CSS drop down menu display issue - IE7

Hello,
I've looked through the forum but can't seem to figure out how to fix my issue. We recently had someone upgrade our Zencart to the latest version and everything works fine except, in Internet Explorer 7, our drop down menu does not appear at all. Our website is www.thebluedeal.com. "Home", "Custom Products", "Online Stores", "Information", and "My Account" headers appear fine in other versions and Firefox but these headers don't appear in IE7. Can someone please tell me how to correct this problem? Thanks!

Much as I hate to help a left-winger , it looks like the red part here is causing the problem:

div#dropMenu ul.level1 {
width:100%;
margin: 0 auto;
background: url(../images/tile_back.gif) 100% repeat;
text-align:center;
z-index:1000;
float:left;
}

Removing it doesn't seem to hurt in IE8.
