    Default Template Modifying

I am trying to change the logo on the template I am using and am having some trouble with doing it. I checked the stylesheet.css and found no mention of a logo. when i checked the page source I can see the logo image and it's location but I can't find where to edit the stylesheet to make it link to the correct logo.

    My site is below.

My guess is that the template you are using may not be 100% ZC compliant. Is it from Template Monster? Just been to their site and searched for 346 only to learn that
    TEMPLATE 346 HAS BEEN REMOVED

Thanks Kobra. I didn't see that when I was searching as I was using to many keywords! :)

    Frank18:
    I got it from Templatetuning.com
    http://www.templatetuning.com/zencar...iew/28172.html

Not sure if that helps. I'm going to try what Kobra suggested and see if that does work and let everyone know tonight!

The page you pointed to has this note:
    Zen Cart 1.3.8 only

You should absolutely not start (or stay) with v1.3.8, as the hackers have had years to find vulnerabilities in it and may find a new one at any time. V1.3.9 is fundamentally much more secure.
That template may well modify some file that was also modified in v1.3.9, which might break some functionality or reintroduce an old security hole.

Yes I did see that but I contact them before I purchased the template, as I Run 1.3.9. They told me there should be NO issues in using it on a newer version.

If they will stand by that and help with any issues, that may be okay.

Oh, and the template is by TM - the stylesheet_tm.css is positive evidence. Templatetuning is a reseller which also appears to do other things (though their custom work samples show old-style HTML coding methods). So templatetuning didn't write the template.

They do try to 'help' but it isn't very good. They told me to edit the logo I need to go into the PSD file and edit it in there. They also told me that to set up the banner I can only do it by bringing in the full.sql, which wasn't correct again. So far their help has not been able to resolve my issue any time I have contacted them and then when they can't fix it they ask for Admin access!!

If you mean the Auto Parts Shop image, just create your new image, name it logo.gif, and upload it to includes/templates/theme346/images, overwriting the old one. If you want to use a .jpg image, you'll need to put it in the same folder, then edit includes/languages/english/theme346/header.php.

Somehow I'm not very surprised. At a quick glance through their product range, they offer templates for many different kinds of platforms, and they can't be expert or even competent in all of them unless they're wizards.
