Featured Items

I have searched for this but can not find the right answer.

I have enabled Featured items in All areas within my store but can not get any items to show up. Does anyone know how I would go about doing that?

I checked under admin/config/featured listings and it is all set up but I can not get the items to show.

I want them to show in the center box and not on the side box.

Check your settings for the Configuration ... Index Listing ... and make sure that the settings for all of the Featured are set for a value other than 0, as 0 is OFF ...

Check the Configuration ... Maximum Values ... and see what the setting is for the:

Maximum Display of Featured Products - Main Page
Number of featured products to list on main page

Thanks! Got it working!!!

But I did discover another issue... When i enter my Featured products in (admin/catolog/featured Products) I enter in to the ID box the Model number and it finds a different item. Is the ID number Different to the Model number which displays when you are viewing an item?

That is looking for the products_id not the products_model ... those are two different things ...
