Blank Page Help!

I have searched throughout the forums and have not found an answer to specifically address the problem I am having. When users log onto my site, they used to be able to add items to the cart, and checkout fine, but at the successful page, there is just the az_header main logo and a blank page otherwise. All the buttons at the top to try to get back to the home page are unsuccessful. The order confirmation email goes out fine, but the link listed in the email to check the status of the order does not work, and now after upgrading, the customer is stuck at the same blank page with the exception of the main logo at the top even just at customer login!

I understand that this may be an issue in the stylesheet or (I'm hoping) a couple lines of code that I may have to change.

Blank pages or part blank usually a mis edit of a file

What file(s) have your edited recently?
Use FTP and look at the modified dates to locate those edited most recently - - can click the modified date heading to arrenge them in date order

I appreciate the response... the problem is that so many files have been updated recently that it is hard to pinpoint any one given edit.

I have searched the other related posts concerning the blank page... I cannot access the cache folder from the cpanel to look at a debug. I assume that it is running because I have updated to 1.39h.

I noticed significant differences in the template/template tpl files in the default template, and the custom template I am using. I copied all of the missing files and still no luck. Again to reiterate:

I am getting a blank page for account login. The cart shows content but I cannot view the cart, nor can I checkout. Also, upon checkout the checkout_success page only contains the header and the rest of the page is blank. You are unable to navigate anywhere else.

Switch to the classic template and if that functions then it is limited to one of the custom template files

There is no reason that you should not be able to using the cpanel file manager
Use FTP then and down load the debug files and this will probable point to a file as the cause

Using FTP one can click the modified date to sort ny date
Start with the most recent edit and work back

so I have narrowed the problem down to two main errors that I can find. As far as scripting is concerned I cannot identify an obvious error unless I am missing something so I would appreciate some help.

Those 2 files, one in an template override folder and the other you editerd the core file instead of using the override system

Replace the core file with a stock one and the other remove and see if the errors continue

If they do not, then you know that it is one or both of those files and something amiss with them

kobra- your suggestions are much appreciated. It seems some of the original files have been lost in the template upgrade. I replaced with the old file and things seem to be working fine.
