Have you checked to make sure that some configure.php setting didn't get munged in the upgrade?

Thank you for your reply. I didn't even touch that file. I worked through the changelog and updated only files changed according to the instructions.
I'm currently doing a fresh install.

Is there any debug file in your cache folder?
