    email error Sending email from site...Not

    I have been working on this for days. I have zen cart h ver. installed on a go daddy server. Also have a email account with them that I want all email to go to from the site. [email protected]. I believe I have all the correct settings in the back office part of Zen cart set correctly to send mail from the contact us form to the [email protected] address.( I left it at default PHP) when I send an test email I get a your email was successfully sent massage but I dont get the e-mail. Godaddy suggested using their mail form script. I cant find where to insert it into the zen cart code to make it work.they say it is to replace this line:
    <form name="contact_us" action="http://www.theelectricaldepot.com/index.php?main_page=contact_us&amp;action=send" method="post">
    <address>The Electrical Depot.com</address>
    on the contact us page. I cant find that anywhere. The web site is theelectricaldepot.com Really need to have e-mail working, any help would be much appreciated. I am a rank beginner by the way!

    P.S. I also noticed when veiwing the contact us page in source view, the address listed in that line says the Electrical depot.com for address I would have changed that to [email protected] if I could find it.

    The <address> needs to be the email address and not the website address: The Electrical Depot.com

    Check your Zen Cart settings again.

    I have all the settings in zen cart set to [email protected]. When I look at the source view of the page I see the address as the electrical depot .com. I am not able to find where the code is to change it. thanks

    answer: sendmail

    go to admin - configuration - e-mail options and set transport method to "sendmail" for godaddy servers. You may also have to change your email account settings in the godaddy admin to allow for more transports.

    I did make that change and I did get an email error at least it says:
    nbox > Message Detail

    Any suggestion as to why I get this instead of the message? thanks!

    The "From" address is empty and the error message should contain the email address (which it doesn't).

    550 5.1.1 info <>... User unknown

    Either you have a corrupted install, or you haven't set up that email address on your hosting, or you still haven't set it up correctly in Zen Cart's admin panel.

    I'd vote for the last option.

    Configuration --> E-mail Options

    There are 11 places where you enter the email address you want to use.
