Fedex Module and Dimensions

I have installed the FedEx Module and one of the options is:
Enable Dimensions? I have set to true.

Where do I set the dimensions as there is no option for this when setting up a product?

I am getting an error at checkout:

1054 Unknown column 'products_length' in 'field list' in:
[SELECT products_length, products_width, products_height, products_ready_to_ship, product_is_always_free_shipping, products_weight FROM zen_products WHERE products_id = 3 LIMIT 1]

The Intelligent Sump Pump

I have been reading some other threads and although I need to give dimensions when I ship orders, none of my packages are light yet bulky. I guess then , that having dimensions with my products is really not necessary as it will only be the weight that will affect shipping costs and not dimensional weight.

Would this be correct?

As far as I know, shipping costs with the three major shippers (UPS, USPS and FedEx) are just based on weight and distance (within the US, anyway), and whether the destination is commercial or residental. All have dimensional limits, though.
