Cannot Add a Category

I just installed Zencart and began customizing it for my needs through the admin area. I am only selling 3 products so I didn't see any need to have categories, so I deleted the existing categories and just added my 3 products. However, I noticed a red error message showing up in the admin area that says "WARNING: You have Products in the Top Level Category. This will cause pricing to not work properly in the Catalog. Products found: 3".

I tried to add a new category, but it appears that once all the categories are gone, there is no option of adding a new category. There simply isn't a button anywhere to accomplish it.

Does anyone have any ideas? I've customized pretty much everything else and I'd hate to start over from scratch. There has to be a way to add a category manually somehow.

Categories hold either Categories or Products ...

If a Category holds a Product, the NEW CATEGORY button will disappear ...

If a Category holds a Category the NEW PRODUCT button will disappear ...

NOTE: the current version of Zen Cart is v1.3.9h ...

You need to delete your three products, create a category, then recreate the products in it. Save the descriptions etc in a text file so you don't have to re-type everything.
