Change Width Of Keyword Search Here Box- In My Sidebox

That's the right file. Find this:

$content .= zen_draw_input_field('keyword', '', 'size="18" maxlength="100" style="width: ' . ($column_width-30) . 'px"') . '<br />' .

and change the '30' value. Increasing the number makes the box smaller.

I too am trying to change this width as the box is running out of the shaded area and into the padding (I hope that makes sense.)

I ran the Dev Toolkit and everywhere that the code appears where I can change the 'column width of 30' I have. I have entered the number 50 (that may be too small but I have to start somewhere and then I can adjust).

Anyway, the box has not changed from its original size no matter where I change it in the code. And the code is matching exactly what you said it would.

What am I doing wrong???

Just so all who is struggling with this knows...the directions that Stevesh gave worked beautifully.

It helps if you look at your code and then look twice again. Chances are if it's not working...you might have goofed up.

Like me. I had a 1 in the 2nd column where I should have had 30+. I missed it all 3 times I tried to fix it. (hey-i'm blonde!)
