Default Fast web hosting for zen cart?

I know this is a hard to answer question, and I tried to google it, but can't get any good results.

I have tried both ipage and fatcow, both are recommended as the "best" hosting for zen cart on many "review" sites, but they are just slow: first page load may take 15 to 30 seconds, the following page load is a little faster (5 to 10 seconds).

I guess all those so called web hosting review sites never do any review, they may simply take commissions.

I am still trying to see: does anyone know any good zen cart hosting? (for business, not for testing site!)

    Thanks!

PS: I already tried all the "speed up" tools or methods, they may help only a little bit. And I know some people may ask the hosting company to relocate their account to a less overloaded machine, which I prefer not to do that, since I guess in no time, that less overloaded host will be busy soon.

Oh, by the way, I can't believe zen-cart.com's own page only lists these few "certified" hostings:

    Any luck with them?

    Hi

I have several zen cart ecommerce website which I use as my main source of income. I thought I was clever to go for godaddy unlimited hosting. But I had a slow website (about 10 to 20 seconds load time) and also I had weird 500 internal server errors when traffic spiked.

Then I finally moved to a zen cart certified hosting provider ( in my case terranetwork.net ) and WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!
The loading time of my website now is about 2 to 3 seconds max and many times much faster. Also their service is great, they transfer and configured my zen cart very fast for free. They have free shared SSL! and also their hosting price is very reasonable.

but what ever you choose, stay away from godaddy!
