Add, Buy Now, More info all on new products page

I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out why in new products specifically there is a Buy Now button for some products, more info for others and Add (with an option for quantity)? I of course understand the Sold Out buttons (there's no inventory stated) but for the life of me can't figure out the lack of uniformity. Any suggestions?

normally this is because the product with more info... on it has attributes that need to be selected either because they are required or because they change the product base price, buy it now are simple and can b added right to the cart from the index page if required.

Check the individual Product that you see the buy now button and see if you have the setting ...
