admin site problem

Hi all

I'm new with zen cart, i want to ask about a problem i have

i was copying my zen cart from my live server (it worked well in the live server). i was hoping to modify the zen cart in my local machine then i update everything up in the live server.

i copied everything but i run the zc_install again in my local computer. after installing i tried to open the store and it worked :)
then i tried to open the admin site, it doesn't showed me anything (just blank white page)

but when i tried localhost/zc_admin/login.php it showed. but when i try to login it wont take me to the admin site. instead the location address bar of my firefox display
"http://localhost/www/zc_admin/login.php?zenAdminID=de244255e83b296630ac24ef25ccbdd0"


i dont know what to do. Is there anyone here have any idea what to do? It worked on my hosted live server, but not on my local machine

You probably need to edit the admin/includes/configure.php file.

View the includes/configure.php file for guidance on what needs to be changed.

Same happened to me some days ago.

The culprit was a single quote missing (see highlighted) from the define

define('DB_DATABASE', 'testdb');

So, check for something like that in your admin/includes/configure.php file.
