Default Noob seeking answer and opinions.

Hey guys, i have browsed the last few days about which cart to use and zencart keeps beating the rest for my needs.

I would like to make a estore to sell products i am dropshipping. I am not that concerned about a dropshipping feature since is kind of a manual process with the vendor.

I was wondering what is the best payment option, gateway merchant, etc. I have used Paypal WPP in the past with other businesses and went well. However I am also familiar with PP random freezing account and keeping X % of your balance for X days for X period of time, specially if you increase your orders. If my business "makes it" I dont want to be penalized for being successful.

With that said, I was wondering what built in or add on module works as far as payment gateways and merchant solutions. Is there an all-in-one solution like PP?

    Thank you guys.

    Rodrigo

Thanks Donal. Yes there are a lot of choices . Thats why I wanted some guidance I guess, see what is working out for different users.

The reason i dont want to use paypal wpp is because their fame of holding funds and playing wth one's money. 2co i have read in theor policy that they will also hold funds until they can confirm by phone that the product was received. I am the kind of guy that usually do not pick up unknown numbers, and i know there is people out there that do the same so seems risky to me.

If you dont mind me asking. What solution do you use for your store and how is your experience with them?

As you said it very much depends on your own pref, personally on my own site i use moneybookers simply because they are easy to deal with,.. getting money out and into there system etc, there fees for personal stuff are better to. but several of my clients do use paypal because its so well known, i have to say we havent had any major issues so far lol. two of my clients use their own merchant accounts.

What do you mean papal payments pro holds your money and plays with it? maybe it was so in the past. not any more.
I use paypal wpp and i will get the money transferred to my bank account as soon as the order is placed.
and i have never had a call from paypal to confirm the receipt of the merchandise. perhaps you read an old article somewhere.
