as well as reverting the below files back to their originals as these particular files are overwritten (not overridden)

yes - that was the first thing I did as per removal instructions
boy - I may just reinstall IH2. The large image fix would be to rename all the large images to the small and upload/overwrite via FTP. That should solve it right?
Among all of this I have learned having one large pic for Image Handler is the way to do it anyway.
I have successfully removed image handler before when trying to track down a problem (turned out to be nothing to do with IH) and it was dead easy and came out easily, so i can't help you there if the advice given didn't work.
The whole point of image Handler is that when you add the product you just add the one image (normally a large version of your image) and image handler automatically creates the medium and small versions, in 90% of the cases it works perfectly, in the majority of the rest the problems are caused by incomplete installs, or people not renaming the /Your_template/ files to match their template

I made sure every folder for the install was correct and just double checked.
I just fixed one product - uploaded the full size pic into the /images folder and it still has the same behavior seen HERE
I won't give up yet - thanks for your help so far!
