MSIE Main Page Featured Products Problem

Hi,

My site works fine in Firefox and Chrome, but the main page sometimes does strange things in MSIE. There are a few problems, but I'll just post this more urgent one at the moment...

Featured Products - the first three do not go where they should, (horizontally at the bottom), but sit vertically in front of the other text I have on the page. If there are any more than three featured products, the others are how they should be.

I see this particular problem in v8 on a normal-sized-screened Compaq running Vista Home Premium BUT NOT on a little Dell mini with XP Home.

I don't remember this being a problem before a month or two ago.

The Featured Products area is partially covered by the content with the red background in IE7, but not IE8. In IE8, the red text at the top is displayed in an area about 20px wide.

I'm guessing that both problems are caused by the fact that you've apparently pasted all that text from Microsoft Word. Not the hot setup.

Pasting copy from any WYSIWYG editor into Zencart (or any other PHP/CSS-driven software) will cause problems when the styling the editor adds collides with the program's attempt to apply its CSS, and Word is the worst offender.

Much better to use the bult-in HTML editor or enter the copy as plain text, frame it in <div>s and style it in Zencart's stylesheet.
