    Default Some Paypal/Zen Cart questions

I'm trying to get ready to accept orders/payments and my boss want to use paypal.

I looked into it, and I definitely want to use the free version "Website Payments Standard," for a few reasons, the main one being that they handle the credit card data security, and it's free among other things.

When I go through the Paypal site, it asks me to make a button, (set up for a cart). Will I have to make a new button for each product I sell, or can't I just, during the checkout, transfer the total amount of the order to paypal and handle it that way?

It seems that if I did it going through the paypal site, I won't even need zen cart, but I like having some things on my site.

    Also:

Detailed setup instructions are contained in the Zen Cart™ distribution zip file in /docs/3.readme_paypal_ipn.html.

With Zen Cart, you don't use any "PayPal Buttons". You just use the Add-To_cart button on each product, and then from your shopping cart you choose to checkout, and can select PayPal from available options, if you've configured it to be available.

Best to use Express Checkout, and not Website Payments Standard: www.zen-cart.com/getpaypal
