Image breaks site!

Hello,

I seem to be having a very odd problem, I have a site running all fine, and I have products with images up there, but today I have added three products all with 1 images each, 2 of the products upload fine, but the third when I go to upload the image, the whole site stops working and I cant see any products, but if I delete that product again, it all works again.

Any idea how I can get the picture working?

Well, if you happen to have the IH2 mod installed, large images will make it break on some servers. Take the offending image and re-compress it to a smaller size.

I already have taken it from 8mb to 442 KB?

That's still a huge image, far bigger than an entire web page is recommended to be. Is it supposed to fill the entire screen? If not (and even if so), set the pixel dimensions to exactly the size you want to display, save it for web at moderate/good quality and see what file size you get. The absolute highest quality is rarely distinguishable on screen from medium high.

All fixed, just had to reduce size some more, thanks for all your help :)
