Centerboxes

I thought at this point this was already fixed but is not. I don't see anyone reporting it (besides one person that never got a response about it).

I'm sure is a bug because even from clean install and classic template the behavior is the same.

When you go to Configuration > Index Listing
and activate any of the centerboxes to show on MAIN PAGE it won't show up. The only way to make them show up on main page is if you select "Show 'centerbox' on Main Page - Category with SubCategories".

Is there a way to make the centerboxes to show up ONLY on main page? Am I wrong and it works for others? Is this a real bug?

When your reference "Center boxes" are you meaning like featured, new products etc??

These all work on my installs

The centerboxes show on the home page of my local test install (currently 1.3.9g)...

I have a testing site (1.3.9h) and my site (1.3.8a) and if you turn off the second option I mentioned they don't show up.

The only way I can make them to show up on main page is if I turn on the "Show 'centerbox' on Main Page - Category with SubCategories". Maybe there's another setting I should look for?

I've just tried 5 different sites from customers and they all have the same issue.

Assuming the override system is being used

Yes, I always follow the override system for templating. But even with classic temp. doesn't work.
