NEW to Zen Cart -Trouble with Discounts

Hello guys,

First post, hope someone can help me. I'm very new to Zencart (less than 2 weeks) but I got everything running except one thing.

I'm using ZenCart 1.3.8a

I'm trying to make a group discount, or a quantity discount (i dont know if i'm calling it right so please excuse my lingo if i'm wrong) but in theory i want one category of my shopping cart to have multiple tiers of discounts lets say in category snack bars

if client buys

1-5 they get $1 OFF
5-9 they get $2 OFF
10-15 they get $3 OFF
15+ they get 25% OFF

I made some changes on the Products Price Manager but apparently only works with one product not on a combination of products.

I also tried the Group Pricing, but i believe that is for Wholesalers, Retailers, etc.

Could someone help me please, i've been searching like crazy, but i believe i'm searching for the wrong keyword

this kind of helps unfortunately i got stock after setting the parameters for the discounts.

Where can i select the category that needs to have the discounts?

Sorry if i'm missing a step i'm fairly new to Zen Cart, and i'm still trying to get my head around all the menus and pages (((

It's applied for all categories at the master category level. If you need to exclude categories from getting discounts, read the help file to see how to use the exclude_category() function.
