    Default Admin error

    Hi,

Have been set up and working for a while on 1.3.9d but moving to a new server. So I set up 1.3.9d exactly as it was before on teh new server, working great. I then upgraded to 1.3.9h but had to re import the database, no problem, all looking good.

Obviously I then had to rename /admin so FTP'ed in and did that, but when I visit l(lets call it /newadminfoldername) it forwards me to /admin obviously giving me 404 because its no longer called that.

Tried on 3 computers so its not in my cache, any other ideas? I presume theres a file in /admin (now renamed) that should be edited manually perhaps?

    Ta!

EDIT: Ok, edited /newadminfoldername/includes/config.php and replaced the instances of the word admin to the new folder name.. only some of them needed changing though (obviously as others were variables atc). Not sure why this should be necessary though?

Your two configure.php files are the control for how people connect to and navigate around your website.

If you rename the admin folder then you also need to change the 3 instances of /admin/ to /newadminfoldername/ in your admin's includes/configure.php file.

Maybe I missed it but I didn't see anything that pointed that out though. Doesn't matter now though, worked it out, thanks for your help :)
