Sidebox SubCat font change

Where in the stylesheet do I change the subcategories font size, color and alignment? I have tried just about everything, used web developer and still can't figure it out.

Since you are using BetterCategories, you would style
.betterCategories .category-subs {}
or
.betterCategories .category-products {}

It's hard to identify locations because you have your CSS minified and very difficult for people to read.

Alignment is partially controlled by admin settings (Configuration > Layout Settings).

Ok, I have one final question. I really only want the first sub cat to show on the sidebox.
ex. top cat: Cloth diapers and Hybrids
sub cat: One Size

but when I chose in the layout settings to "always open to show sub cat." I get the top cat, the sub cat and the 2nd sub cat.
is there a way to fix this? I hope I didn't confuse you!

Default behavior is to show the immediate subcats of any category (or subcategory) you select, not sub-subcats of it. BetterCategories may change this behavior - I don't know its code. Best to ask in its support thread. Do you have an expanded categories mod? They typically show all subcats all the time.
