Option Value Manager edit or add function not working

Hi,

Am using 1.3.9h and up until a week ago was able to use the Option Value Manager without problem. Now, I can only delete existing values, but not add or edit any new ones. As soon as I press "Update" the screen goes back to Admin Home and no updates have been recorded.

Could this be a database error?

I did install RSS2 Feed module but not sure if this would have affected the Option Value Manager.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to look for? Which files/sections of the database control this functionality?

The code does not change on it's own

Use FTP and check all your admin files for modified date after you the date you know it was OK

Sort the file list by modified date to make this easier

Thanks - I have checked all Admin files and the module I have installed (RSS2 Feed) doesn't change any Admin files.

The history of this site is that it was an osCommerce site at first which was then imported into ZenCart. This created an entry for each Option, i.e. if there were 50 products with a color option, it imported 50 option names even though they were the same.

Could it be that there is a limit to the number of option names you can have?

Would appreciate your thoughts.

OK - checked the four option value/option name files that were in the Admin folder and they all had the original upload dates, i.e. hadn't been altered.

I decided to upload fresh copies of these files and now the Option Value manager lets me add and edit option names again.

files were:
option_name.php
option_values.php
option_name_manager.php
option_values_manager.php
