Is there a list of features that shows the differences between integrating phpbb3 with zencart versus just running phpbb3 in a separate directory is?

Maybe I asked the questions wrong, I meant to say

Is there a list of features that shows the differences between integrating phpbb3 with zencart versues just running phpbb by itself.

I see in the config where you can specify the directory and in the admin where you can enable phpbb links.

What exactly does setting those settings do?

I haven't used phpBB with Zencart, but I believe the integration is in the form of a 'bridge', where visitors who register on your Zencart site are also automatically registered in the forum, though not the other way around.

I have also intergrated my phpbb and zen cart together.

QUestion

1) Is it normal for the user to log in again with his forum username and password? My works that way.
Or it should automatically log in when he logs on to my website?

2) Is there anyway we can make it such that he logs on to my website as a user, he/she will automatcially log on to the forum as well?

That is the normal behaviour

Due to security and session issues, no auto login is not supported
