Store Loading Problems

I have been having problems with my site loading times over the last 14 days or so. My site is linked in the footer of my posts.
I am currently using godaddy ultimate hosting and have not had any problems untill now.
The problem is strange. 60% of the time my site loads up really fast and can be browsed through without any problems but the other 40% of the time i get 5-30 minute periods where the site simply will not load and I get a blank loading screen on my browser for a good 60 seconds or so. After this time i will either get a 500 internal error message or the site will load. I thought that I had edited a file incorrectly at first but cannot figure out why it is fine, without a single issue 60% of the time. I thought maybe it could be something to do with my hosting but want to know before i start posting support tickets. Does anyone have any ideas?

Find a proper webhost. GoDaddy has loaded the server you are on to the hilt. The intermittent lag is caused by the resources being sucked up by other sites.

Note that the dedicated IP they have you on resolves to Netherlands(Noord-holland - Amsterdam) instead of the UK

Makes perfect sense however go daddy informed me that this was not the case, which I supposed that they would. Do you know of any good hosts? I'm not an expert and Go daddy has a great control panel with quick and easy integration of all features including ssl and mysql which are features i will need. Also is it possible to transfer ssl certificates and mysql databases or would they go down when my go daddy subscription stopped. When it comes to hosting and servers i don't have much of a clue to be honest. I would love to host my own server however past installing an all in one lamp solution which i can do im lost after that with setting on features in non control panel format.
Thank you for your opinion, il see what they say in the support ticket and try to hold out until my subscription times out when i will definitely change hosts anyway. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

This problem was so unpredictable uncontrollable I have now transferred my site to a virtual private server. Now all is good.
