    help question Error During Checkout Final Screen - Help!

    I just tried to make a test purchase, and got all the way through the checkout process...but when I hit the final Submit, I got this error message:

    "Unable to process payment. Please contact the merchant as the shipping address provided by the merchant is invalid, and the merchant has requested that your order must be shipped to that address."

    Now what the heck does that mean?? This doesn't make much sense to me, because the merchant would be my client...and her address in the Admin / Configuration / Store Address & Phone is correct. Plus it's a Paypal error, so that shouldn't matter anyway.

    And then it says "your order must be shipped to that address," which I interpret to mean her address, not mine. It just doesn't sound right at all. Why would she request that my order be shipped to her address?? It should be the other way around.

    I'm baffled and frustrated, because otherwise her cart is ready to go...and then this happens. Does anyone have any ideas?? Please??

    Hello? Anyone?

    We can't process orders, and we can't figure out what's wrong! The merchant address in Paypal is correct, and orders processed independently through Paypal go through fine. This error message is contradictory, and we don't know how to get rid of it. And Paypal has not responded to our requests for help, either.

    Please help...thank you!

    I got this yesterday too, looking for answers I came across your thread.

    I had one order go through without issue, and another failed that was going to a USMC APO address.

    I assumed it was due to the APO address being "seen" as invalid or not matching the Paypal address for the customer.

    Either that or they changed the "Ship to" address manually to the APO and it didn't like that.

    So perhaps your issue is similar to mine in that the cart doesn't like it when they change the ship to address(?), or if the address is determined to be invalid for some reason.

    After some more research it seems that the Paypal "Address Override" set to "0" works to fix this.
