Default Downloads broke after changing servers

I've just recently moved servers - everything seems to be working right except downloads - none of the files are registering 'readable' (red dot in control panel) and not appearing to user's who have purhcased? Where should I start for troubleshooting? I'm assuming my master paths are correct - my DL folder is still in the same place...

Could you post, from the server, without your username, password and secret admin directory name ... the two files for:
    /includes/configure.php
    /admin/includes/configure.php

If downloads were previously working, and you then changed servers, it is most likely that you had enabled "Downloads by redirect" which worked on the old server but which doesn't work on the new server because of higher security levels.

I am having a similar problem.

However all my downloadable files are appearing as downloadable, it is just now on the new server, once someone buys the file they are not given the product and it does not appear in their account.

Any help would be so appreciated, I am desperate!

    Thanks,

Did you try turning off "Enable downloads by redirect" to see if that cured the problem?

    Hey Vgar,
Thanks for getting back to me.

Yes I have tried both: "Enable Downloads by redirect"
    and disabled "Downloads by redirect.

    Still doesn't worth either way.

I think it maybe something to do with the purchases in general.
Now when a user buys a product there is not listing of what they have purchased, the order number or anything.

    Help???

Okay, a bit more information please:

    1. What version of Zen Cart are you running?
    2. What version of PHP is running on your server? You'll find this under Tools --> Server Info in Zen Cart admin panel.
    3. Did you set these products up with the "Download" attribute?
    4. Did you give any of these products a weight?

All downloads are "virtual" products, which means that they do not have to be shipped and have no weight. So if you attach a weight to them then they are treated as normal products for shipping.

All downloadable products have to be given the Product Attribute of "Download" and if they aren't then they're not treated as downloads.

I think it maybe something to do with the purchases in general. Now when a user buys a product there is not listing of what they have purchased, the order number or anything.
This makes me think that perhaps your whole site is screwed up or else you are using a version of Zen Cart which is not compatible with PHP 5.3 and the server is using PHP 5.3.
