    Default HTMLArea quit working.

I seem to recall this happening years ago on another cart. We upgraded this cart hoping it would help. I even went in and uploaded the entire admin and editors folder again to be sure.

I tried turning it off and on several times. It just doesn't show up. Internet Explorer showing an error of not defined.

Check that the JS file in editors/htmlarea/htmlarea.js was uploaded and also check that the files removed from 1.3.8 to 1.3.9 were in fact removed, this list is pretty extensive.

delia, look into installing CKeditor, it leaves the standard HTML editor in the cold.

The editor has not been affected in any upgrade to date that I have done and there's been a lot of them.

The editor quit working before the upgrade. I was hoping the upgrade would fix it.

If I had my choice of editors it wouldn't be either htmlarea or fckeditor by the way.

Not installing another one. Just want this one to work.

    Already reuploaded entire editors directory.

Have you tried it in more than one area of the cart? (probably a dumb question, sorry) but if you are trying only one area it can be caused by a copied and pasted javascript for example in just that edit.

Yep, and finally figured it out.

    the admin config file had
http://thestore.com/store instead of the base url. Moving that store to the lines beneath it (/store/admin/) fixed it.

    Thanks everyone!
