I am looking for some help in inserting the right coding in the order.php that would show if an item was back ordered or in my case made to order.

I have the cart and checkout page showing that an out of stock item as made to order. I have found this to be called markproductoutofstock and the full warning message Products marked with Made to Order are out of stock.
Please allow 7 days for production of Items not in stock.is called messagestackerror.

I belive this is right I found the markproductsoutofstock in the Includes/function/functions_lookups.php line 189

I'm I asking for to much from the community? Should I just look to a paid contractor please let me know. i would like to learn and be more hands on but my knowledge is limited.
