Problem Creating Grid-Style Product Form

I downloaded the Product Attribute Grid module (http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=876) and I *think* I installed it correctly, although I found the instructions rather confusing. I then went to the store side and clicked on several different items, per the instructions. Nothing appears to have happened. Did the module actually install? How will I know? I went back into my Catalog/Categories and nothing looks different. Where will I find the new entry screen to enter the information?

I have over 5,000 different items to add, and a LOT of them will be using this grid...so if I can't get it to work, I'm pretty much stuck in the water.

The most common error in using that mod is not changing the two YOUR_TEMPLATE folders to the name of your custom template before uploading. If you did that, did you install the SQL patch ?

Sorry, I was thinking of another mod. The YOUR_TEMPLATE folder thing still applies, though.

As far as I can tell, I did copy each of the files to the proper folder. But the instructions were very confusing. It's possible I didn't get all of them where they belonged. Frankly I'm scared to try again because I'm afraid I'll mess things up. And I've done SUCH a lot of work on this already that I don't want to have to start over again.

This can be done partway through building the cart, right? Because that's when I stumbled across the info, and tried to add it.

All you should have to do is unzip the mod zip file on to your local computer, change the two YOUR_TEMPLATE folders to the name of your template, and drag and drop the 'includes' folder from the mod to the root (top) directory of your store. All the other folders and files will fall where they need to be.

Then it looks like you navigate to a product in your store (not admin) to install it.

You can install this and most other mods at any point in the process.

Okay, I did it again, exactly like you said, and then went into the shopping cart (http://rainforest-pets.com/shoppingcart/) and looked at several different items. Nothing happened. Nor has anything new appeared in my admin pages. I just don't get this--what's supposed to happen??
