Paypal Express- I'm going mad!

Hi there,

I've been wracking my brain for 4 hours as to why Paypal standard worked before today but won't. I then switched to Paypal express and end up with the same problem. Checkout won't take you anywhere and the PayPal button gives me the white space.

The PayPal module shows its processing
i've confirmed and double checked and triple checked the API credentials. Shipping is a.o.k. I've looked at all of the forum threads but not finding what I was hoping for. I'm stumped and tired...

I've set the debug for log file and alerts but haven't received anything.

All help will be greatly appreciated!

First insure that you have your PP express credentials then
Try removing PP express in the admin and re-installing it
While there and on a temp basis, at the bottom enable logs for it
You will find the logs at /includes/modules/payment/paypal/logs

Thank you Kobra for your response and suggestions. I ensured that the PayPal Express credentials are checked and reinstalled the paypal express module. Still no luck. Thank you also for directing me to the paypal debug logs. This is what I'm getting:

Thanks to another forum posting...I found this

"No. The only place you need to set anything in your store as far as CURL goes is in Admin->Configuration->My Store->CURL Proxy Status. AND IT SHOULD BE SET TO OFF. "

I did this and now it works!. Phew!

Okay...I spoke too soon. It looked good at first but now it doesn't. So that got me to step 2 but now the site returns me to step 3 (back the site) but no luck.

I'm getting this message:
