FreeShipper Automatic Show 0 weight on products

Dear all,

Just questions regarding freeshipper mode.

When a product has weight say 1kg but was set to Yes, always free shipping.

1) Why during checkout, it show as 0 weight instead of 1kg?
2) When weight is shown as 0 weight, the zone shipping module does not kick in hence cannot be selected.

Any advise on this?

Always Free Shipping reduces the Order Weight by the Free Shipping Weight ...

1) Any possiblity to customise it so it will not show 0 weight?
2) does this also means that once customise no to show 0 weight, it will affect the free shipper module not to function?

You could further customize the Shopping Cart Page in the file:
/includes/modules/pages/shopping_cart/header_php.php

to not show the weight when it is 0 ...

The display does not affect the functionality ...

By changing the display will not change the fact that it will still not trigger the zone shipping module.
Well, I was thinking that maybe if zone shipping module is able to detect the weight it might trigger the function and allow shipping other than freeshipper zone at 1 location.

Is there a way to do that?

Go to the Modules ... Shipping ... and click on Zone Rate zones and post what your settings are that show in the right hand panel ...
