Well, my guess is that you have not uploaded the files to the correct location.
The reason you get a 403 Forbidden error is because there is no 'index' file at that location.

Once connected you will find inside your home directory a list of websites which you have hosted with us. Each website has its own directory structure as described below. Change into the directory of the website you wish to administer. You will need to upload your main website files into the "html" directory.
A description of the main directories and their use follows:
* /sites
This is where your sites reside, there may be 1 or more sites here.
* /sites/www.lovetovape.com.au/cgi-bin
This is your script directory, where you should place your site scripts.
* /sites/www.lovetovape.com.au/html
Place all of your website content here.
* /sites/include
For PHP and Perl libraries/includes you use. This is for across site use.
* /sites/www.lovetovape.com.au/include
For PHP and Perl libraries/includes that you use. This is for site specific use.
Please FTP to your website and make sure that all of the Zen Cart sub-folders and files are present in the html directory.

Hi Vger,
Yes they are. I've deleted them 3 times and reuploaded them 4 times.
I find that most odd, and seems to indicate that any 'includes' you use on your website be located outside of the website (which would go into the 'html' folder). It may be that they are running PHP in Safe Mode and that instead of providing server-wide settings that they are relocating everything onto individual websites - possibly to limit any hacks to within those sites./sites/www.lovetovape.com.au/include

Hosts who are most likely to use Safe Mode and to be extremely paranoid about running PHP on their servers are usually Windows hosts. Are you sure this is a Linux server?
Vger
Hi Vger,
Yes it is a Linux server. I've been o n the phone to them and they are looking into it.
As much as I may be an idiot I don't think it's me who's doing something wrong this time
Hopefully my host can fix it ASAP for me.
Thanks for your help.

Hi folks,
The same error here
I am on linux server.
All files I have uploaded to /httpdocs
I have checked my document root path, it looks to be ok
/var/www/vhosts/lacnyprotein.sk/httpdocs
PHP 'safe_mode' is off
after successful installing I am getting 403 error - Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server.
on index.php as well as on /my_new_admin directory
Could you please help me somebody?
Thank you
Radoslav.
